for a change, i am going to start this topic. For the first time since cincinnati, Akron will be fielding our full guys team. unfortunately, Kim wont be in attendance so our womens team takes a big blow. however, our girls are more than excited to come compete again and have a great time. It looks like several of the other top players at other schools might not be able to make this tournament, leaving some of the draws open for newcomers to advance. After reaching semis in cincy and finals at Penn state, Peter Quent is ready to tear up the draw again. Also, look for Danford to avenge his sunday loss to Dinkmaster at this tournament. And, look for Labelle to finally put his arm back together and get back on his A game. (thanks for letting me win that last one J). With some top players out, my favorites for divisions look as such 1's: Apperson, myself, Mcguffey, labelle, quent 2's: levine, nevin, cool, kuehnle, bryan 3's: sagil, fournier, stoughton, not sure what division danford is in, but consider him a favorite in 2's or 3's womens 1's: lotts & Hawthorne (not sure if they are coming), hettesheimer, beevers, austin 2's: molly, meredith, prediction: Akron men will win, BW wins womens and the overall is tighter than expected, but dont be surprised to see Cincinnati sneak 2nd place from either school.
"look for labelle to finally put his arm back together"......HAHAHA True that...I've been working out and drilling like a mad man...I'd agree with your favorites list....what about Price, Uruigilisitegiusi and all of the ECRC people that aren't coming though?.... Danford will be a favorite in 3's if he takes a day off of working out and lets his body heal. At the rate he's going, he won't be able to walk by regionals. My bet is that BW cleans up men's, women's and overall but it is within 200 points between akron and bw men's. Cincy will definitely get 3rd, especially if they bring more dinkball grad students and OSU will get 4th. If SRU brings PFLLLLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUGER, they might have a chance to score some upsets...Akron women's might come in 2nd due to bringing a full team. If SRU brings 5 women like last time, that will be a close battle.
Wow. I read through this and all I can think is wow. You guys are playing right into our trap. So far, we've only been playing at about 25% just to make it fair on everyone, but now it looks like we are going ot have to just roll over everyone. Vicente "I love burritos" Uriostegui is officially calling out the peter quent character and wants to take him out in the first round. go ahead and rank mr. quent above the mexican maniac, he'll just be the first victim in vince's rampage through the 1's bracket. As for the lower brackets, you guys might as well not even bother sending anybody because we are just going to dominate this whole tournament.Also, since sunday matches won't start until 10, that gives myself and other osu players to party about 4 more hours and own the bp tables. (side note: No one parties as hard as team osu, just check out the screen name).Our women's team of course is going to win, especially since we have the player with the coolest name ever in molly miracle! My predictions: first in men's, women's, and overall goes to osu. Everything else doesn't even matter.So beware of us buckeyes. Yes, we might just be a mildy poisionous nut, but we can give you some pretty bad stomach cramps so watch out
